Welcome to the UCT Department of Information Systems! We are excited to announce the UCT Department of Information Systems Bursary for the 2024/2025 academic year. This prestigious bursary is specifically designed to support South African citizens or permanent residents who are pursuing a full-time BCom Honours degree majoring in Information Systems or a 4th-year full-time BBusSci degree majoring in Information Systems at the University of Cape Town.

Eligibility Criteria and Application Process

To be eligible for the UCT Department of Information Systems Bursary for the 2024/2025 academic year, please ensure that you meet the following requirements:

1. Be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
2. Have applied for a full-time BCom Honours degree majoring in Information Systems or currently be enrolled in 4th year full-time BBusSci studies majoring in Information Systems at the University of Cape Town.
3. Have a proven financial need for the bursary.
4. Achieve a minimum overall average of 65% for 3rd-year Information Systems/Computer Science courses.
5. Not be employed on a full-time basis for the duration of the bursary.
